Here we have a personalised autograph card, signed on one side by three members of the 1932/3 England squad:
- Harry Hibbs – Birmingham – He made 25 appearances for England from 1929 – 36.
- Frederick R Goodall – Huddersfield – He played right back for club and country, and also became Town’s captain.
- Ernie Blenkinsop – Sheffield Wednesday – 26 appearances for England, and 393 for Sheffield Wednesday.
The other side of the card is signed by 17 members of the West Ham United side who reached the 1932/3 FA Cup semi-final. They lost 2 – 1 to Everton, who then went on to beat Manchester City 3 – 0 in the final at Wembley in front of over 92,000 spectators.
