This menu comes from a celebratory dinner held after Sunderland’s FA Cup triumph in 1937.
The event was held on the train from Sunderland to London on 3rd May for club directors and friends as they traveled back down to the capital.
Three second half goals saw them defeat Preston North End 3 – 1 at Wembley.
Prioer to 1937, all finals had been played in April.
