The second image shows the advert for Sykes “Triple Seal” valve footballs.
WM Sykes started life in 1870 when William Sykes purchased a saddler’s shop in Horbury, West Yorkshire and as the business flourished, they added footballs and other leather sporting goods to their range of products.
They eventually became part of the Slazenger group.
