Cardiff’s Park Hotel played host to the Welsh and Spanish squads following their World Cup qualifier clash at Ninian Park on 19th April 1961.
Phil Woosnam opened the scoring for Wales in the 7th minute, but Spain drew level less than a quarter of an hour later, and a 78th minute goal from Di Stefano secured the win for the Spaniards.
According to the menu, the teams had lamb and an omelette… nice combination!
The menu has been signed on the rear by 17 members of the Spain squad.
