These documents were issued to Oswestry United FC shareholder Thomas Griffiths in the early 20th century.
There is evidence to suggest that an Oswestry club was formed as far back as 1960, and in the early 20th century they regularly made the final 4 in the Welsh Cup, winning the trophy in 1906/7.
Mr Griffiths was a railway inspector in the town according to his shareholder certificate.
