This is a very rare pre-war season ticket for Notts County for the 1911-12 season, during which the club narrowly avoided relegation after finishing 16th and just two points above Preston in the drop zone. This was the club’s second season at Meadow Lane after moving from Trent Bridge.
Definitely an item of it’s time, the inside of the ticket states:
“This ticket admits holder and lady, or one son (under 12)…”
Not great if you want to take your little girl along to the game instead.
