A 1938 World Cup Runners Up Medal awarded to a Hungarian international player after they lost the final 4 – 2 to Italy in front of a crowd of 55,000 spectators.
Only a total of 12 copies of this very rare medal were ever made, and on the rear front it is inscribed with the words “FIFA Juin France 1938″.
The name of the player to whom it was awarded is not known.
