Rare signed souvenir programme from the Blackpool FC Grand Victory Ball held at the top of Blackpool Tower on 7th May 1930 to celebrate their promotion to the top flight of English football.
Also includes signatures (top & bottom) of the trainer and assistant trainer of the club. That season Jimmy Hampson scored 46 goals for the club, with 45 in the league and 1 in the cup and also scored more goals for England than any other player that season. To put his season’s haul in perspective the second highest scorer for the club that season could only manage 13 goals by comparison.
Blackpool topped the 2nd Division for the season with Chelsea and Oldham taking 2nd and 3rd respectively.
