This menu was signed by the 1931/32 Everton squad who were attending a celebratory dinner after winning the English First Division that year.
The event was held at the Exchange Hotel which provided the frontage to the now disused Exchange Station on Tithebarn Street in Liverpool on 7th May 1932. The building itself still stands opposite two pubs, The Lion and The Railway.
That year they finished two points ahead of Arsenal with 56 points in total. Their local rivals Liverpool finished mid table with 44 points.
