This 1935 player schedule was given to Bolton Wanderer’s Ray Westwood ahead of his appearance for England against Scotland at Hampden Park in August of that year.
Unfortunately for Ray and his teammates, it was a day to forget for England as Scotland ended up 4 – 2 winners.
Westwood did bag a goal for England along with Robert Gurney, but a Tommy Walker brace and goals from Jimmy Delaney and Matthew Armstrong proved enough for the Scots.
