Hungarian side ETO FC Győr played Manchester United over two legs in the 1984 UEFA Cup, and this is the official handover pennant from the second leg played in Hungary.
ETO FC Győr managed to reach the semi finals of the European Cup in the 1964/5 season, but after a 3 – 0 defeat at Old Trafford in the first leg, even a well earned 2 – 2 draw at home wasn’t going to see them repeat their heroics from two decades earlier.
Most recently, the club won the Hungarian league in the 2012/13 season.
