This signed letterhead from the Forte Posthouse Hotel in York has the signatures of the Arsenal squad who faced York City in January 1975, along with manager Bertie Mee.
York famously took Arsenal to a replay after a 1 – 1 FA Cup draw at Highbury, but The Gunners won the return leg 3 – 1 thanks to a Brian Kidd hat trick. Two of his goals came in extra time, and the goal prior to that was down to a keeper error.
