This is a 1932 Billhead for the purchase of genuine Hotspur football boots, produced by Read, Myall & Read of Northampton, a town famed for it’s boot and shoe industry which supported a whole host of other businesses in the area such as tanneries and leather merchants. That’s why Northampton Town are nicknamed The Cobblers after all!
According to the billhead, Tottenham won the cup in 1921 wearing the genuine Hotspur boots.
