This is an official handover pennant given to Union Deportiva Artiguense during a tournament organised to celebrate the Badalona based side’s 50th anniversary.
Although formed in 1919 in the Catalunya town, the club were only federated in 1922.
Barcelona fielded a strong side for the hotly contested game including:
Barragan, Toral, Rarré, Red, Vazquez, Soler, Houses (was replaced by Vilaroda), Vila (was replaced by Crespo), Wheel, Martinez and Medina.
Vazquez scored the only goal of the game in the 68th minute to give Barcelona the win.
