Former player and broadcaster Rodney Marsh played 9 times for England, between 1971 and 1973.
On 2nd May 1972 he scored his only international goal, against Wales at Ninian Park in the British Home Championships.
Around this time, Marsh left QPR after a successful six years, and then spent a four year spell at Manchester City.
England were already 2 – 0 up against Wales on 2nd May, thanks to an Emlyn Hughes goal in the first half, and a Colin Bell goal in the 69th minute. Marsh would seal the game just one minute later.
The shirt was signed & donated by Marsh to a charity event at a later date.
Following the end of his playing career, he had a road show with George Best, and went on to become a Sky Sports pundit, notably losing a bet which saw him have to shave his hair off after Bradford City avoided relegation at the turn of the millennium.
