He was subsequently called up to the squad again in future years, and this #12 shirt from circa 1974 is from a game which saw him feature as an unused substitute.
Cropley also went on to play for Arsenal, Aston Villa and Portsmouth before injuries forced him to retire at just 31 years of age.
