This is an extremely rare FA Cup 4th round programme from 1954, which saw Headington United, now Oxford United, face off against Bolton Wanderers.
Despite the home advantage, Headington went down 4 – 2 to Bolton, who would progress to the quarter final before losing out in a replay to Sheffield Wednesday.
Headington were the first professional club in Britain to install floodlights, and changed their name to Oxford United in 1960 as part of an effort to raise the profile of the club.
