This is an original programme from the 1930 English Cup Final between Huddersfield Town and Arsenal at Wembley.
This was the very first cup final to see the teams enter the pitch side by side, which they did to honour then Arsenal manager of Herbert Chapman who was also a manager at Huddersfield in the 1920s.
Despite coming into the game off the back of the highest scoring top flight draw in history just five days earlier, a 6 – 6 fight with Leicester City, and dropping Dave Halliday who scored 4 goals in the match Arsenal still managed to win the final 2 – 0 with the looming presence of the Graf Zeppelin over Wembley. This was the Gunners first FA Cup win.
