Throughout the 1960s and 1970s Leeds United were considered as the team to beat enjoying a great period of success in the English First Division and in domestic cup competitions.
Following their final league championship under legendary manager Don Revie in the 1973/4 season the club released a set of player cards, of which we have 17 in our collection as pictured.
That season Leeds set the benchmark for the number of 1st Division league games without defeat at the time, and beat Liverpool in a two horse race for the title by 5 points.
