Hyde Road itself was used by the club between 1887 and 1923, before they moved to Maine Road. A fire caused by a discarded cigarette destroyed the main stand at Hyde Road in 1920.
The site of the pitch is now the Olympic Freight Terminal, close to the junction with Bennett Street.
A portion of the original stadium roof was still in use at Halifax ground, The Shay, as late as 2006.
