Another rare fixture list, this time covering the Merseyside clubs Liverpool and Everton in their 1923/4 seasons.
That year both clubs were competing in the English First Division, with Everton eventually finishing in 7th with Liverpool 8 points further down the table in 12th. The league title was taken by Huddersfield, who finished ahead of Cardiff on goal difference with both clubs amassing 57 points.
Everton finished level on points with Aston Villa, who earlier in the season saw their centre-half Tommy Ball shot, making him the only Football League player to have been murdered.
