This medal was awarded to Coventry City goalkeeper Neil Ramsbottom after their 1972 friendly against the All Japan side.
Ramsbottom plaed 51 times for Coventry between 1972 – 75 after starting his career with Bury and Blackpool. He then moved on to Sheffield Wednesday, Plymouth Argyle, Blackburn Rovers, Sheffield United, Bradford City and finally Bournemouth, before moving to non-league Chorley at the age of 39
