This is an original Polish Football Association pennant from 1978, possibly from the Argentina World Cup.
Poland won Group 2 ahead of West Germany, a result which surprised many on lookers at the time.
The top two teams from each of the four group were then placed into another two groups of four teams, where Poland went on to lose to Brazil and eventual champions Argentina.
