This medal was awarded to Sir Tom Finney in 1946, as he was nominated as one of the twelve “Sportsmen of the Year” as voted for in a Sporting Record National Ballot.
It is shown in it’s original presentation case, which includes the name of The Alexander Clark Co Ltd who produced the medals.
