Awarded to Sir Tom Finney on the occasion of his 59th England cap in a friendly against Spain, played out in front of 95,550 fans at Wembley stadium in November 1955.
England played a commanding game of football, which saw them score two quick braces early in both the first and second halves.
Sir Tom played his part in the victory, scoring England’s 3rd goal in the 59th minute (marking his 59th cap!), before Bill Perry slotted home just a minute later to make the final score 4 -1 to the home side.
