
The 1930s were a golden era for Brentford, who under the stewardship of Harry Curtis would finish 5th in their debut season in the top flight before the breakout of World War Two.
Cartoonist Laurence East captures their finest hour with this fantastic set of drawings in his ‘Bees’ sketchbook which was published by EW Burgess of Chiswick in 1936/37.
