This nice little item arrived with us just last week.
It’s a collapsible boot brush, held in a metal case with a hammered finish.
Based on the look of the embossed footballer on the front of the case, we assume this was produced around the 1920′s, but can’t be 100% sure on that.
The small handle at the top of the case, which is used to raise and lower the brush, also acts as part of a clasp to keep the case closed when not in use.
