A nice programme and ticket set from the 1955 clash between Wolves and Dynamo Moscow at Molineux.
Wolves played several memorable friendlies following the installation of their floodlights in 1953, against the likes of Dynamo and Spartak, and even defeated Real Madrid.
Dynamo had already narrowly beaten Wolves earlier that year in the Soviet Union with a 3 – 2 win, but this time the home side managed to get the better of Lev Yashin in goal to come away 2 – 1 winners in front of over 55,000 fans.
This set belonged to Wolves legend Bill Shorthouse, who made 344 appearances for the club from 1947 to 1956.
