The rather unique piece was bought at auction, and is a Victorian drinks dispenser in the shape of a trophy.
It was presented to William Townley of Blackburn Rovers FC by his team mates after he scored a hat trick for the club – which was the first to ever be scored in an FA Cup final.
Townley then went on to score again in the 1891 cup final as Blackburn Rovers successfully defended their title, meaning that to date only Ian Rush has scored more goals in FA Cup final matches, netting five in total.
He was capped twice for England, and scored twice, and went on to play for Darwen and then Manchester City, where he suffered a career ending head injury.
Townley went on to become a popular coach in Germany managing a number of teams including Bayern Munich before his death in 1950 in Blackpool at the age of 84.
