This illustrated book is a souvenir from the 1907 FA Cup final, published by Gale & Polden Ltd of Wellington Works, Aldershot.
The final was played at Crystal Palace between The Wednesday and Everton.
Thanks to goals from James Stewart and George Simpson, the Sheffield side emerged 2 – 1 winners. Everton had won the cup the previous year, and were the second defending side to reach the final the following season, only to fail to retain the trophy. The first was the Old Etonians, who lost to Blackburn Olympic back in 1883.
