These two hand written team sheets would have been handed to the referee prior to the start of the 9th October 1972 meeting between Chelsea and Derby County.
The game in question was a League Cup 3rd round replay, held at Stamford Bridge. Peter Osgood, Dave Webb and Steve Kember scored for the hosts to give them a narrow 3 – 2 victory against The Rams.
The sheets have been signed by Dave Sexton and Brian Clough.
