These two gum wrappers from the 1960′s feature Celtic’s famous former captain William ‘Billy’ McNeill, along with Gordon Marshal of Hearts.
McNeill, nicknamed Caesar, was voted their greatest ever captain by the fans in 2002, and played 790 times for Celtic, and was never substituted.
Marshal was an Anglo-Scottish keeper who also had a brief stint at Celtic, but had the most successful period of his career at Tynecastle winning 5 major medals, missing just 3 matches in 7 years.
