This is an original menu from the presentation and dinner held in 1959 to honour Wolves and England stalwart Billy Wright on 8th July.
Wright made 490 appearances for Wolves, with whom he played for his whole career, also making 105 appearances for England including 90 as captain, spanning three world cup tournaments from 1950 t0 1958.
Wright died in 1994 and his ashes were scattered on the pitch at Molineux. His statue can be clearly seen outside the ground to this day.
