This is a 1963 England International Cap which was awarded to all players who played in the match versus the Rest of the World, which was staged to mark 100 years of the FA.
The Rest of the World team featured the likes of Eusebio, Puskas, Karl-Heinz Schnellinger and Denis Law lost to England 2 -1 on the night thanks to a late goal from Jimmy Greaves in the 90th minute, which rescued England from an almost certain draw after Denis Law had found the Rest of World team an equaliser in the 83rd minute.
The scoring was opened in the 66th minute by England’s Terry Paine
