This certificate was awarded to Manchester United legend George Best during his time playing with The San Jose Earthquakes from 1980/81.
Best was awarded “Star of the Game” (or man of the match as we know it) for his performance on the pitch on 26th April 1981.
Unfortunately we are unable to find the fixture list for the club from their 1980/81 season to confirm which team Best was playing against as part of the Earthquakes squad.
