Woodgate was named man of the match against Chelsea at Wembley after helping Spurs to secure their first trophy in nine years.

Three minutes into extra time, a Jermaine Jenas free kick found the head of Woodgate, who directed it straight at Petr Cech.
Cech then pushed the ball straight back onto Woodgate’s head, and had to watch as it went straight back past him and between the sticks to make it 2 – 1.
