An unopened bottle of ‘City Ale’ brewed by Ind Coope in 1983 to celebrate Leicester City’s promotion back to the top flight!
Leicester finished 3rd in the division that year behind QPR and Wolves.
Ind Coope’s roots can be traced back to 1799, and at the time of promotion the Burton based brewery were part of the larger Allied Breweries group.
Leicester might need another batch of these brewing next season….
