This is the original contract between Mickey Thomas and Wrexham AFC, when the player extended his term with the Welsh side in 1976.
Thomas joined his local side in 1972, and stayed with them until 1978 when he moved to Manchester United. He also had spells with West Brom, Chelsea, Derby, Leeds and Stoke among others.
Thomas would eventually close out his career at Wrexham when he came home from 1991/93 and during that time was embroiled in a money laundering scandal which saw him go to prison, before he joined Porthmadog and soon became player-manager.
During his three months in charge, the North Wales side picked up just one point and he soon left the club.
