Walter Scott had two spells with Grimsby Town, from 1907 to 1909 and the post-war in 1919.
In total he made 99 appearances for the side over his two stints, although there is no date on this postcard to suggest which year it was printed.
Following some information from Mariners Scrapbook on Twitter, we think it dates from 1909, as Scott saved 3 of 4 penalties awarded to Burnley in a single game that season.
