This shirt was worn by Preston North End’s Willie Cunningham against West Brom in the 1954 FA Cup final.
Preston would go on to lose 3 – 2 after a late Frank Griffin goal gave The Baggies the win.
Cunningham started as a centre-half, but by the time he joined Preston in 1949 for £5,000 he had been converted to a full back.
He remained with the Lancashire club until 1963, and made 437 appearances.
